VANCO INTERNATIONAL ADDS MATRIX SWITCHERS
Batavia, IL. November 1, 2007 Staying current with the most up-to-date technology in Home Theater, Vanco International, an innovative supplier of home theater electronic accessories, is introducing a series of Matrix Switchers.
The new series of Matrix Switchers allow Multiple HDMI™ sources (Blu-Ray™, HD DVD™ Player, Satellite Receiver, Game System, etc.) to be shown on multiple displays independently. The Matrix Switchers are the newest addition to Vanco’s existing wide variety of splitters and switchers that distribute multiple HDMI™ sources to multiple HDMI™ outputs, from one source at a time.
A total of three configurations are available. The 2 x 2 Matrix switcher allows up to two (2) HDMI audio/video devices to be independently switched to two (2) HDMI monitors, HDTVs, or projectors. With the 2 x 4 you are allowed to up to two (2) HDMI audio/video devices to be independently switched to four (4) HDMI monitors, HDTVs, or projectors. The last configuration is the 4 x 4, which allows up to four (4) HDMI audio/video devices to be independently switched to four (4) HDMI monitors, HDTVs, or projectors.
Vanco’s Matrix Switchers deliver deeply rich uncompressed digital video and true life surround sound audio with zero signal loss. They support high definition resolutions 1080p, 1080i, 720p and standard video format, and are H.D.C.P. (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) Compliant.
They are also HDMI 1.3 Compatible, support the next-generation “xvYCC” color space standards, and lossless compressed digital audio formats Dolby® TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio™. They work with Blu-Ray™ DVD player, HD DVD™ player, game consoles, computers, and satellite set top boxes that have HDMI connections as well as support DDWG standard for HDMI compliant monitors.
