Curated selection of HDMI and USB cables makes it easy to specify infrastructure for TAA-compliant projects.

Batavia, IL – May 20, 2025 – Vanco International LLC, an industry leader in AV distribution and electronic accessory products, today announces a new line of TAA-compliant cables suitable for any federally-funded project or sensitive application. Vanco’s new TAA-compliant cable line includes HDMI, USB Type A to Type C, and USB Type C to Type C cables in a variety of lengths. Like all Vanco A/V cables, these cables are backed by a lifetime warranty, so integrators can deploy them in mission-critical applications with confidence.

The New Cable Line-Up

Vanco’s new TAA-compliant high-speed HDMI cables with Ethernet include the T255 “Performance Series” and the TPRHD “Pro Series.” The T255 Performance Series, available in 1-, 3-, or 6-foot lengths, delivers HDMI 1.4 with 10.2Gbps high-speed data transfer. All Vanco USB cables are fully backwards-compatible with earlier USB standards.

Why TAA Compliance Matters

TAA-compliant products must be made or “substantially altered” in the United States or a designated trading partner nation. All federal and military projects, as well as state and local government or education projects receiving federal funds, are required to use TAA-compliant products. Vendors who cannot prove compliance may be disqualified from bidding or even face legal consequences. Vanco’s new line of TAA-compliant cables, made in Laos, make it significantly easier to spec and bid on federally-funded projects or any project requiring TAA adherence.

A Full Suite of TAA-Compliant Solutions

Vanco’s TAA-compliant cables are the latest addition to the company’s already extensive selection of TAA-compliant products, which also includes:

“TAA compliance is about more than adherence to the letter of the law,” says Aaron Rozanski, Director of Distribution Markets, Vanco. “It’s about security and reliability.
